Charming country hotel in Milton Keynes
With its distinctive russet bricks, imported from the Netherlands, the mansion house at De Vere Horwood Estate was built in 1911 as a country residence for the Denny family, and has been welcoming guests ever since.

Today, the hotel brings together a wealth of original features along with 21st-century modern style across 35 different event spaces to ensure that any meeting, conference, training or wedding is memorable. Outside, the grounds lend themselves perfectly to a range of teambuilding activities.

At the restaurant, the modern British menu features classic dishes, sourced seasonally from good suppliers whilst the Executive Chef team curate celebration menus that deliver restaurant-quality food for a wide range of events. Head upstairs and you’ll discover a collection of modern and stylish bedrooms.

The birthplace of Percy Thrower, his father was the estate’s head gardener, the manicured Pytheas Gardens, complete with a lily pond, make a great spot for a stroll whilst 38 acres of wider estate grounds reveal some of Buckinghamshire’s most beautiful countryside.
